The Endowment & Excellence Grants

 The Endowment

The goal of the Bremen Educational Foundation is to create a permanent endowment to support the tradition of excellence in the Bremen City Schools. In order to reach this goal, we will invest a portion of the funds raised each year to build the endowment.

 Annual Excellence Grants

A portion of the funds rasied each year will be used to fund Excellence Grants for teachers. Teachers in H.A. Jones Elementary School, Sewell Middle School, and Bremen High School will have the opportunity to apply for funds to support innovative projects which:

• Improve the quality of education for Bremen students.
• Promote participation by Bremen students in arts, literary, and cultural activites.
• Improve the ability of Bremen students to succeed in school.

The Excellence Grants will be awarded by the Foundation on a competitive basis. Examples of items that may be funded include: technology, books & supplies, equipment, support for student-produced publications and drama and musical productions, as well as guest speakers and artists.
